In terms of design & looks it’s almost matched with the design of the previous Ertiga so we can say XL-6 as a younger sister of Ertiga.

Triber is based on a modified CMF-A platform. That’s the same platform as in Renault Kwid. Well, the advantages of this platform are that it provides sufficient space in a compact size. But it also has some major disadvantages like 0 star in N-cap test. N-cap test ensures the safety of the vehicle by testing its strength & durability by a various test like crashing test, Hardness test & aerodynamic test. 0 star means the platform used is not suitable & not be safe to drive. Now it’s up to the government, whether to decline the launch or to warm welcome the new car of the company.
In terms of looks & design, it matches almost like kwid with triking Projector Headlamps, stylish Roof Rails and LED DRLs. The ultra-modern Triple Edge Chrome Front Grille further adds to its presence. A Ground Clearance of 182 mm and SUV Skid Plates lend an impressive stance while offering protection on rough roads.
Side looks almost matches with an MPV with 15 inches of cladding alloy wheels, rub-rails on the doors, curved shaped roof which ensure it perfect aerodynamically.

Small but deep spaces may found everywhere like in glove box & just above the glove box on the dashboard.Best in class digital instrument cluster with 3.4 cm LED display. Seats are quit comfortable but available in fabric material only, it’s better to provide leather upholstery even in gear knob & steering wheel.

Space can be definitely more than the previous Ertiga & also sufficient for tall heighted person. 1st & 2nd row can split in 60:40 ratio & third row can be split in 50:50 ratio but captain seats must be still available in the third row so in terms of comfort & convenience XL-6 is a very tough competitor of Mahindra Marazzo just because of effective pricing.

Ertiga XL-6 is available in petrol only because Maruti plans to stop the production of diesel car till 2022. The new XL-6 is now equipped with BS-6 compliant k15 petrol engine which offered 105 BHP of power with 138 Nm of torque with 5-speed manual transmission & 4-speed automatic transmission with torque converter. 1.5 Litre is the perfect engine option for XL-6 which is capable to produce sufficient power with good torque.
